Black Friday

I am going shopping on friday, but I have set goals for myself...

Goal #1: find a good camera (you know to replace that one that went missing in September)
Goal #2: Find something good for Mom... how do you shop for the person that only wants her kids for christmas...
Goal #3: Find something for Chelsea, she has requested Christmas movies... Family Stone and Four Christmases. Wish me luck that I find them.
Goal #4: Go to my FAVORITE clothes store for their awesome sales (Shade).
Goal #5: Hope that is doesn't snow till saturday.

Ok those are the goals... they seem small, but they are LARGE, very LARGE. Wish me luck!

The London Eye

These are pictures that were taken when we went to the London Eye, it is this HUGE Ferris wheel that was tall enough that you could see the ENTIRE city. It was amazing and SO beautiful. It was super super close to Parliament... which you can see in some of the pics at the bottom. I have some other pics of Big Ben and Parliament that will be in the next post. The little girl in the pics is Sophie, she is the ADORABLE girl that my friend is Nannying in London. We hung out with her most of the time.. it was pretty fun. :) The London Eye was soooo fun.. even with my strange fear of falling/heights. (I like to push my limits). Anyway enjoy these amazing views. :)

PS. the very last pic is of the Imperial War Museum. The museum has the intense exhibit of genocide and the Holocaust. It was crazy to see everything they had and all the facts that I didn't really know.

Tower Hill and London Bridge

This is the way you walk into Tower Hill. (This is the castle that belonged to many Kings of England and was also used as a prison for those who committed treason). The second picture is looking out one of the wings windows at London Bridge. It was beautiful!

This is one of the throne of Edward II. It was pretty... and then this is one of the guards getting ready to chop my head off like so many of the poor people in Ancient England.

Apparently Henry VI died by tradition on this spot. And then there is another beautiful picture of London Bridge.

This is a window in what was used as a prison... you definitely can't get out of that. And they kept their religious traditions not far from their prisoners lives.

More from London!

these are just some pictures of the pathway from Buckingham Palace to Hyde Park. Hyde park is AMAZING! I loved it SO much. It was fun that so many people spend time in parks, with their dogs and their families. Hyde park is where many memorials to Diana are built. It is also, basicly, the backyard to Kennsington Palace, which was Diana's Palace. It was my favorite Palace that we saw, because it just looked so real, not over done, but I guess Palaces are supposed to be that way. Haha. Anyway, enjoy the few pictures I have on this one.

London again...

here are some pics from the Changing of the Gaurd. It was pretty cool... interesting to see something so historical. I just wish it wouldn't have been as crowded!

Okay, Procrastination got the best of me... London, again!

BUCKINGHAM PALACE!!!! It was Beautiful. Everything I expected and more. This day was such a BEAUTIFUL DAY! I enjoyed every second of it. We went to see the changing of the gaurd, which was a cool experience, but it was SO crowded and hard to see.. not to mention HOT! that it wasn't that fun. But I am glad I went. I have a few pictures of that too... they will show up in another post. :)

This last picture is a picture of how busy and crowded it got. There is a pic of this same statue toward the top of the post... look how empty it was. It got SUPER busy WAY too fast.

london continued

Here is my London post for the day. Most of these are at the Tower of London. The Tower is where many of the Kings of England lived, including Henry VIII. The Tower is also where Ann Bolyn was killed and a couple of his other wives too. Before and a little after Henry VIII was King, the Tower was used as a prison. I have more pictures from the Tower, but it was a different day, so will be included in a different post. We got to the Tower this day just after it closed. It sucked, but it was such a beautiful sight, that it made it worth it. We walked out of the Tower tube station (the tube is their underground transportation system... it is AMAZING!) and there is the AMAZING view of the tower (it is the first picture in the post). And there is also this sun dial that has different parts of England's history at each number around the dial. It was pretty cool too. Enjoy!

The second picture is London Bridge... I have better pictures of it. They will be in a later post also. :)

This is just a cool monument that was across the street from the Tower. I thought it looked pretty fancy. :)
