Back to school!

School is in session, again. It has started off well... for the most part. I decided this semester to take 15 credits instead of 12. It will kick my butt even more then last semester. But this summer when I only take 9 credits instead of 12, I will appreciate the dedication it took to complete 15 credits without killing myself. Ok, here is a list of my classes: Classical Chinese Philosophy, Deductive Logic, Macroeconomics, Science and Society (this is a class about the effects of Evolution on society, including ideas like Eugenics and Creationism) and last but not least Contemporary Ethical Theory. Sound fun? I think it will be. The University of Utah also offers a program for Undergrads that gives us the opportunity to be published (UROP). I met with a professor in my department today that is willing to work with me on some ideas that I have about music and the role it plays in peoples lives. I have some more reading for it, but it will be worth it. I am very excited to work on some of my own ideas, instead of the ideas that the professors but in our heads during class. I wont officially be working on this project till the summer, so I assume that will be like the last three credits added onto the nine that I have planned for. :( Oh well, such is life.

My grandparents are still residing in St George for the summer and they are loving it. My sister is residing all over the Salt Lake valley trying to stay close to school and work. (She started the IHC nursing program this semester and is really enjoying herself). My mom is still in Las Vegas, living with my cat. I miss eddie (the cat) a lot, but he is doing well. I hope everyone else is doing well too. I hope to post a little bit more. But if school gets any harder... I am not sure that will be happening.
